Ozzie Torres, Esq.
Osvaldo F. Torres (“Ozzie”) is a New York City law firm-trained corporate and securities attorney. He assists companies to raise capital through private and public offerings. He also has extensive experience in media law and regularly represents television stations, cable operators and associations, production companies, and commercial artists.
Osvaldo has counseled a wide variety of foreign and domestic clients including investors, purchasers, and sellers in asset transactions, parties to merger and acquisition transactions, joint venture parties, and others. He is experienced in legal department management, litigation case strategy, coordinating lobbying efforts, and organizing and conducting corporate Board of Directors meetings.
His professional experience includes work at Schulte Roth & Zabel in New York City and Greenberg Traurig in Miami. Ozzie has also served as Senior Vice President, Business Affairs, General Counsel, and Secretary for HBO Latin America and Telemundo Group, Inc.
A 1987 graduate of the University of Pennsylvania Law School, Ozzie held the position of Editor-in-Chief of The Penn Law Forum. Fluent in Spanish, he is admitted to practice law in Florida and New York.
